Our Mission
In 2017, Qwick was founded to revolutionize how hospitality works. We knew that the industry needed more freedom and flexibility in its staffing operations for businesses to be successful and hospitality professionals to have greater autonomy in their work. Since day one we’ve been driven by the opportunity to serve those who serve us and create prosperity in the industry that we love.
Five years later, we’re more driven by this mission and inspired by the hospitality community than ever. We’ve successfully matched over 600,000 hospitality shifts in 24 cities across the U.S. and have our sights set on millions more. On the heels of a $40M Series B investment and a 10,076% growth rate that earned us a #32 spot on Inc 5000’s list of fastest growing private companies in the US, we’re ready to bring Qwick to even more people and communities.
Why Now?
With our rapid growth, it became clear that the brand that’s needed to propel us into the future looks quite a bit different than the one that carried us here. Our tech startup roots will always be an important part of our history, but our brand was lacking the heart and hospitality focus that’s such a large part of everything that we do.
A brand is not just colors or a logo. A brand is a world that we get to create—it’s every touchpoint, and the experience and emotions they bring. It was time to create a brand that makes it very clear what Qwick stands for: reliability, quality, and compassion. We sit at the heart of hospitality, as the industry’s most empowering professional platform.
Introducing the New Qwick
Developed in partnership with award-winning brand agency, Red Antler, every aspect of our new brand was inspired by the hospitality professionals and businesses that we serve. From script mimicking back of house Sharpie scribbles and design elements reminiscent of colorful day-dot stickers, to rich, saturated imagery that’s just as diverse and lively as the Qwick crew, we’re paying homage to hospitality.
Not only does our new brand represent the shift types and sceneries of the industry, but it brings into focus the skilled individuals who make it all possible.
In fact, we’re introducing some new vernacular to make it even more apparent just how talented those working on the Qwick platform are. Formerly referred to as Qwick “Professionals”, we now call those picking up shifts on our platform “hospitality professionals”. The change emphasizes expertise and how flexibly and freely hospitality professionals can do what they love with Qwick on their side.
Our new branding now aligns Qwick’s outward appearance with what we’ve always stood for in the hospitality industry: flexibility and freedom in food and beverage staffing.
Just as important as what’s changing, is what’s staying the same: our commitment to being the best platform to find, or fill, shifts in hospitality. As our business partners and professionals experience the new Qwick brand, they can expect to see the same functionality they know and love, along with the same attentive, compassionate service.
